70’s Fred Lowen - Fler chairs

Truly unique chairs, these originally stamped 1970s Fred Lowen 'Tessa' chairs have been completely and lovingly reupholstered and restored. "Born from the inspiration of the sixties hit song 'puppet on a string' renowned designer Fred Lowen decided to be the master of his own destiny and open his own manufacturing company 'Twen'. Known as Tessa and named after a close friends daughter, Tessa has continued to be a leader in design and quality manufacture in Australia for over 30 years." The blackwood timber frame has been meticulously French polished – by hand - the chrome plated buttons add an interesting detail and leather was carefully selected to make these special pieces of 70’s furniture truly authentic

30’s Bucket chair

This original 1930s Deco armchair has been completely and lovingly reupholstered and restored. This iconic 1930's Deco chair has been cleverly designed with a hidden storage area to the base of the chair which hinges back and wheels to the chair to allow you to easily move the chair from room to room. The new textured velvet striped fabric continues into the hidden storage area and a bolster cushion has been added to add a little detail.

60’s Click clack sofa

This original 1960s click clack sofa bed has been completely reupholstered and restored. This clever three seater reclines back into a sofa bed, making it both a stunning feature piece and a convenient guest bed. Its teak timber frame has been meticulously French polished – by hand - and the platinum fabric was carefully selected to make this special piece of 60s furniture a truly authentic.

Siesta chair

Ingmar Relling attained an international reputation with his Siesta chair. This original 1960's chair has been restored to its former glory. The series represented new thinking in terms of both construction and form in Norway in the 1960's. Most distinctive is the simple, high-backed first edition, upholstered in the original leather and has a compact form of expression of sculptural quality. Since 1960, Relling dedicated himself entirely to furniture design, developing his skills through collaboration with the industry to become Norway’s most internationally famous and recognized furniture designer, as well as one of the greatest contributors to the concept Scandinavian design. The Siesta is represented in museums in London, Oslo, Munich, New York and Tokyo

30’s Bridge chairs

These original 1930s bridge chairs have been completely reupholstered and restored. The pair of bridge chairs are unique and rare to find a matching pair. The new richly textured, velvet striped upholstery complements the restored Tasmanian oak timber arms which have been French polished - by hand.

50's Chair

A truly unique piece of furniture, this original 1950s Deco armchair has been completely and lovingly reupholstered and restored. Its solid, curved silky oak timber arms have been meticulously French polished – by hand - and the gold-textured fabric was carefully selected to portray an authentic 50s look and feel. It’s also been carefully hand-stitched, to ensure a more organic, natural and authentic appearance.
